Kindermusik is the premier music and movement program for
children birth through age seven. Founded over 20 years ago,
Kindermusik incorporates the latest research on child development
into all of their programs. Experts are gathered from every avenue
of child
development to develop only the very best musical programs for
children and parents. Parents receive valuable tools to use at
home which
include Home CD's, literature, activities and journals to name
a few. Parents and children never seem to tire of the wonderful,
high quality music that is included with every program. Music
from many cultures and venues always makes every Home CD interesting
and educational. Simple instruments are used from as early as
the infant classes and on through to the oldest classes where
the glockenspiel, the two string dulcimer and the recorder are
integral parts of each class. Children leave the Kindermusik
experience ready for all kinds of new experiences whether it
be private music lessons or dance instruction. More information

About the Instructor:
Melinda Lise Pokorzynski graduated from Albion College
with degrees in Economics, Management, and Clarinet Performance.
While in college she was an outstanding music theory student
and performed multiple recitals. Melinda also played alto sax
in the college jazz ensemble. She was the principal clarinet
with the Holland Symphony Orchestra, the second clarinet with
the Manistee Orchestra, and was previously a member of the Holland
Woodwind Quintet. She was a board member of the New land Arts
Academy Charter School in Manistee. In 1998 she received her
accreditation from Kindermusik International and has started
her own Kindermusik studio. In 2002 Melinda was selected as a
member of the Kindermusik International Maestro Program - an
exclusive membership that annually recognizes licensed educators
who have demonstrated superlative performance based on program
size, outreach to under served population of children, or mastery
in teaching. She was selected as a Kindermusik Maestro as a result
of her program's growth to one of the company's largest in terms
of children served. Although not specifically chosen for her
outreach to children in financial need, she is recognized in
West Michigan for her work with the Way to Grow program which
brings quality programs to area children who may not otherwise
be able to to attend in addition to working with children with
disabilities on every possible occasion. She instructs in Beulah,
Holland, Manistee, and now in Traverse City at Sun Radius Academy
of Music.

HOW TO REGISTER
To register please call Sun Radius Music, International, at
231-631-7751 Store hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and 10
a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. Enrollment is limited so don't delay
if you are interested.
